November Business Luncheon
November 7 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
Many of you may remember predictions made about the future of public and private transportation and autonomous vehicles that were made at MBA meetings a couple of years ago. Now, a recent headline in the Richmond Times Dispatch Business section read, “Daimler testing autonomous big rigs around Southwest Virginia highways”. While for some that may seem straight out of the Jetsons, the fact of the matter is, autonomous vehicles do exist and will soon alter our infrastructure as we know it.
Join us at our November 7th luncheon at Salisbury Country Club when Amanda Hamm, VDOT’s Connected and Automoated Vehicle Program Manager, will discuss local impacts of “connected roads and the future infrastructure for autonomous vehicles”.
